Department of Animation Design

The Animation Design courses focus on providing applied, real-world skill development as well as a broad range of intellectual skills. The theory courses, assignments of studio class and work focus on case studies, simulations and lab projects. Further students will complete an internship within the industry to develop understanding of market in them. The end of 4-year degree program is based on project-based thesis practical work, in which students work individually or in team with holistic approach. The Department of Animation Design will offer courses, which are designed in collaboration with industry experts and are deployment of state of the art studios in the University. Rigorous instruction in both classical and computer animation will be carried out. The Students will be trained in manual story board and cutting-edge 2D/3D computer animations. Students will be trained to create their own scripts, characters, layouts, and produce their own animated films.

The courses are to explain the fundamentals of visual development and its application in game and animation Design which deals with vocabulary, basic concepts, genres and its types. The course works as introduction to video game and animation world and its development processes. The objective of this course is to introduce applied techniques and methods to give students an understanding of the lifecycle and sequences of development in game and animation design. The other objective is to give students knowledge of game and animation design terminologies and history as they able to work in market with full confidence.
